Conspiracy theories are seemingly everywhere in our world. A 2022 survey found that around 19 percent of American adults either believed the Earth was flat or weren’t sure. That’s false, of course. So is the theory that Barack Obama was not born in the United States. But a 2023 survey found that one third of U.S. adults believe that one.
